Description

This is my fanart of Woodie, one of the characters from game Don't Starve. He is cursed. When he chops the trees, he has to eat some wood, otherwise he turns into demonic beaver - Werebeaver! Thanks for all favs and comments, I appreciate it :)

Vision: I feel the picture has a great vision as every aspect of the drawing symbolizes Woodie and his curse. the theme and idea are very well illustrated. My complaint is the beaver looks more like a bear than an actually beaver. I didn't know it was one until I read t in the description. ( also beavers teeth are yellow)

originality: I love your style of drawing, especially the beaver, it's fresh and its your own. I also like that I haven't seen this type of fanart before. Its nice to see something other than Steven Universe, Undertale, and My Little Pony. But the drawing style looks a little like super mash brothers, but I'm not going to hold that against you since its the character design. And us artist can't help but take influence in the things that surround us.

technique: like I said before I love your style of drawing, but one thing I noticed is that you don't have pronounced shading. I notice in the shoes, face, gloves you do and on the legs; but there isn't any where else. for every light there needs to be a dark. and there also isn't any noticeable light source. I love what you did in the back round that surround the beaver. I feel it adds a big part to the theme and it makes it more intriguing to look at.

Impact: for impact I cant say much. since this piece doesn't really hold any emotion to it. but it did think about what the drawing meant. and how you had all the symbols in the drawing really brought the drawing together.
